We have done quite a bit of research on Elsie Marchant and her house in Adelaide Road. She sounds like a wonderful lady. We're very lucky and blessed to have purchased the house from Elsie. We moved in on 2nd July 2021. I believe we're the first 'non' Merchant's in nearly 80 years. It's a beautiful house and garden. We will do all we can to keep it in the spirit of when she lived there.
